Bemsana is an abstract impressionistic finger painting artist residing in Calgary, Canada, with a lifelong passion for art cultivated at an Indian art school. She fell in love with finger painting after moving to Canada in her thirties, influenced by Iris Scott's work, and practices a scratching technique with plastic cards to produce floral abstracts and nature impressions.

Beyond finger painting, Bemsana creates mixed media paintings that predominantly feature watercolor, drawing deep inspiration from Madhubani art—a traditional Indian folk art form with roots spanning over 2,500 years across India and Nepal.
